Another round of summer thunderstorms delayed hundreds of flights at Denver International Airport on Saturday and caused federal officials to delay some arriving flights.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground delay at DIA on Saturday afternoon because of the weather, delaying arriving flights by an average of 1 hour and 24 minutes, according to an alert.
There were 379 flight delays and four canceled flights as of 5:10 p.m., according to the flight tracking website FlightAware.
United Airlines reported 109 delays while SkyWest reported 109 and Southwest reported 107.
The ground delay is set to expire at 10 p.m.
