Colorado’s newest Michelin restaurants will be revealed next month

Michelin, the tire and travel guide company, will announce the newest inductees to its Colorado guide of recommended restaurants next month, Denver’s tourism association said Monday.

The Colorado inclusions in the 2025 version of the Michelin Guide will be revealed at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 15, according to Visit Denver. Only restaurants in Denver, Boulder, Snowmass, Vail, Aspen and Beaver Creek are eligible, accourding to Michelins rules.

Last year, the Michelin guide awarded one star to Alma Fonda Fina at 2556 15th St., Denver. MAKfam, a Cantonese-American restaurant on 39 W. 1st Ave. in Denver, earned a Bib Gourmand nod for its price and quality.

Two other Denver restaurants — Brasserie Brixton, at 3701 Williams St., and Kawa Ni, at 1900 W. 32nd Ave. — joined the company’s list of recommended restaurants last year. Michelin inspectors have recognized 44 restaurants since launching their inaugural guide for the state in 2023, according to the company’s website.

The other Colorado restaurants with Michelin stars are Frasca in Boulder; Bosq in Aspen, and Beckon, Bruto and The Wolf’s Tailor, all in Denver.
