The mountains will get some light snow Sunday afternoon and evening and have slight chances of getting more snow most of the week.
On Sunday, moisture moving across the mountains will bring snow showers Sunday, with up to three inches of snowfall possible.

After that system leaves Sunday night, winds across the Front Range Mountains and foothills will increase to gusts of up to 60 mph.
After Sunday, the mountains have slight chances of snow Monday night and Tuesday through at least Friday.
In Denver and on the plains, temperatures start warming up Sunday, with Denver getting a high of 50 degrees. Temperatures in Denver will reach 60 degrees Monday through Wednesday before the city’s next possible round of rain or snow arrives Wednesday night and int Thursday.
