Interstate 70 eastbound is closed at the summit of Vail Pass due to a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
One lane of westbound I-70 is also closed, the Colorado State Patrol posted on X at 12:24 p.m. Drivers should expect an extended closure for the crash investigation.
The closure extends from West Vail, exit 173, to Frisco, exit 201, according to a Colorado Department of Transportation post on X.
