Hundreds of flights in and out of Denver International Airport are delayed and dozens are canceled as a large winter storm hits the Denver metro area.
As of 1 p.m., 347 flights were delayed, and 64 flights were canceled; departing flights make up the majority of delays and cancellations, according to the flight tracking site FlightAware.
Regional airline SkyWest has most of the cancellations with 57 flights canceled.
United and Southwest airlines have most of the delayed flights; United has 116 and Southwest has 113.
The Denver metro area could see up to 12 inches of snow by Sunday during the first winter storm of the season.
